Board of Zoning Adjustments
The Board of Zoning Adjustments consists of 7 members of the community who assist the Planning Department in reviewing applications for Dimensional Variances, Conditional Uses, and the interpretation of the City of Murray Zoning Ordinance. The Board of Zoning Adjustment's function is to ensure the fair and equitable due process application of the City of Murray Zoning Ordinance.
Members of the Board of Zoning Adjustments are appointed by the mayor, and voted in by the passage of a municipal order by the City Council. The BZA meets on the Wednesday following the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 104 N. 5th Street.
